In years to come, we will look back on 2020 and think, urgh, that was tough.

On March 23rd, we closed our doors under the advice of the government in an effort to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, to save lives, and to ease the burden on our NHS.

This was a tremendous effort put in by the whole country, for which we are all so thankful for.

As we move into the next phase of the re-opening of the country, we have been advised by the government that we can re-open our doors to the public from July 4th.

To ensure that we are creating the safest environment possible for both our staff and customers, we have put in place a number of measures.

We have rearranged our seating arrangements to ensure we have a minimum of 1 meter separation between guests & staff alike.

Hand sanitiser stations will be set up at every entrance, alongside the regular handwashing facilities we have always had

We are operating on reduced capacity, and have put a limit on bookings of only 8 people from two different households

All of our staff have recently undertaken Coronavirus training programs to ensure they are able to offer the safest possible service.

So come the 4th July, our Weston & Taunton smokehouse will once again open their doors to allow people to dine in with us.

Unfortunately, Bristol will not be able to accept bookings currently, until we can come up with a solution to "how do you socially distance around one big communal table!"

In the meantime, we will still be offering our click and collect service for all your takeout needs, and look forward to welcoming you as things start to return to 'normal'
